Held at Elsecar Heritage Centre in two newly refurbished Exhibition Halls.
Paul Butler and Chris Cooper provided the videos which mainly features the debut of our new layout Fare to Middlin’ in one of its larger formations. It’s a tribute to the mighty building skills of Phil Thompson that the layout has appeared with a scenic side, ballasted and with greenery. The plans are to enhance the scenery with a station building which will straddle the main running lines.
The members who turned out to run on the main running lines provided two trains per running track every thirty minutes throughout the day, interspersed with ” Meet the Manufacturer” slots designed to showcase the latest from Accucraft, Roundhouse Engineering, Bole Laser Craft , PS Models and Boot Lane Works. Fare to Middlin’ also provides a number of shunting sidings on the scenic side, well used by our junior members.
