The Yorkshire Area Group holds an annual general meeting each year.
The AGM is normally held at Huddersfield Railway Modellers. We are always grateful to them for hosting us.
AGENDA for the 2025 AGM
Please see the agenda for the AGM to be held at 1300 on the 9th of November at the club room of the Huddersfield Railway Modellers at Bath Mills, Albert Street, HD1 3PY. Once again there will be opportunity to run on Portmadoc.
Please note as the 9th of November is Remembrance Sunday we have moved the start time back to 1115 to respect those who wish to partake in the two minute silence at 1100 in memory of the fallen.
If you wish to raise any matters in AOB please can you submit these in writing by the end of 31st October to the Secretary at johntoseland@ymail.com
You’ll notice item 8 is an open forum discussion to be held after the formal section of the AGM. We, as the Board, would like to know what you think and any ideas you may have as to the future direction of the Group. Please can you give it some thought, we’d love to hear your constructive suggestions, ideas and criticisms.
With the HRM and ourselves we would like to have a gathering and running session of rolling stock associated with our late friend Geoff Munday. Whether you acquired any items from the recent sale of his collection or you own a locomotive which he lined. Please bring along and let’s have a celebration of his craftsmanship.
