At the Yorkshire Garden Railway Show in September Chris Cooper is organising 200 wheels in steam on Mount Dowd commencing at 12.30. This is the time Phil assured him that the first steam train ran!
In order to complete this cavalcade Chris needs volunteers, some of whom he collected at Great Willowgarth’s Open Day.

Please let him know your intended number of wheels including tender wheels, where applicable eg Russell has 10 wheels, whereas a Darjeeling C Class has a lot more! We will soon have enough wheels to surpass the 200 target, and we have 3 tracks to use on Mount Dowd. It’s going to be a fantastic spectacle……
