The Musée du Tram Vicinal is in Thuin to the south-west of Charleroi and operates three radiating metre gauge lines from its museum building at Thuin Ouest. A short branch down through the town to Thuin Ville Basse, a non-electrified line running 3.5 km to Biesme Sous Thuin and the 3 km branch to Lobbes. This latter line is tortuous and steeply graded and is quite an experience.
The trams operating on the day of my visit were: –
Steam Locomotive 303. Built by Ateliers de Tubize in 1888, works no 704. Its train was formed of five trailers built at various dates between 1891 and 1911.

Electric Tram 9888. Built by Ateliers Anglo-Franco-Belge in 1932
